Supporting clients on their healing journey toward emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing.
Welcome to Sarah Digs Deep
A space for healing, faith, and growth.
Meet Sarah
I am a licensed mental health therapist with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and over five years of experience in the counseling field. Born and raised in Houston, my journey in supporting others began early through youth mentorship and community volunteering- a passion I continue to carry today.
I primarily work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, family and relationship challenges, and spiritual growth. My therapeutic style is compassionate and supportive, yet gently challenging. I encourage clients to dig deeper, do the inner work, and move toward their highest potential.
In addition to my clinical training, I am a student of Islamic studies and the Quran. I deeply believe in the healing power of integrating Islamic principles with evidence-based therapeutic approaches. My goal is to provide a safe, faith-informed space where clients can process struggles, grow emotionally and spiritually, and strengthen their connection to themselves, their loved ones, and to Allah SWT.
I would be honored to walk beside you on your healing journey, inshaAllah.
My Therapy Style
Warm, compassionate, and sometimes a little silly, that’s how I show up in therapy with you! I believe healing happens when we feel seen and safe, but also gently challenged to grow.
My approach integrates evidence-based methods like CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Solution-Focused Therapy, and ACT (values and mindfulness work), all within a trauma-sensitive framework. I’m trained in TF-CBT and CPT (treating ptsd), and currently completing my Gottman Level 1 training for couples work (currently not accepting couples).
If you’re open to it, I love bringing in an Islamic lens, exploring how faith, values, and emotional wellness come together in a way that’s meaningful and helpful for you.
I also like to offer homework or practical tools you can use between sessions to support your emotional and heart growth!
My hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can show up as yourself, heal deeply, and grow at your own pace, inshaAllah.
Support Tailored to Your Needs
I offer different therapy packages to meet you where you are in your healing journey.
Whether you’re looking for short-term support or deeper inner work, you can choose the path that fits your needs and pace best!
Ideal if you’re looking for support with a specific issue and want a solution-focused approach.
We’ll clarify goals, identify practical tools, and create a plan you can take with you.
Perfect for exploring in-depth: understanding patterns, emotions, and how past and present experiences connect. Focus is on providing support, practical tools, and lasting growth inshaAllah.
For those ready to dig deeper into their healing journey, uncovering old patterns, strengthening self-awareness, implementing plans into action, and working through current challenges with compassion and intention. This is where we truly dig deeper together.
For ongoing clients, an “as needed” check-in, or those wanting to try one session before committing to a package.
For up to three family members wanting to address a specific or ongoing challenge.
Together, we’ll explore emotions, strengthen communication, and develop a practical plan for moving forward.
